Terms of Sale

These Terms apply to your use of hildadurazo.com (the "Site") and to your purchase of Hilda's Mexican Cookbook (the "Book"). "We," "us" and "our" mean the operators of hildadurazo.com. By using the Site or buying the Book, you agree to these Terms.

1. The product

The Book is a digital product: a PDF file of approximately 595 pages. Nothing is shipped. After payment you receive a download link by email and on the order confirmation page.

2. Purchase and payment

Orders are placed and paid through Gumroad, which processes the payment and delivers the file. Your purchase is also subject to Gumroad's terms and policies. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include or exclude sales tax or VAT depending on your location, as calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout.

3. Your license

When you buy the Book, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, read and print it for your own household use. You may print pages and recipe cards for your own kitchen.

You may not resell, share, upload, distribute, publish or give away copies of the Book or any part of it, whether for free or for money, or use it to create a competing product. All text, recipes as written, layouts, images and design are protected by copyright. All rights not granted are reserved.

4. Refunds

If the Book is not for you, reply to your receipt email within 7 days of your purchase, and we will refund your payment. Refunds are issued through Gumroad to your original payment method. After 7 days, all sales are final, except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Cooking and food safety

The Book contains recipes and general kitchen information for home cooks. Cooking involves heat, knives, hot oil and raw ingredients. Please use common sense, supervise children, and follow the safe internal temperatures and storage guidance given in the Book and by your local food safety authorities.

You are responsible for checking ingredients for allergies and dietary needs. The Book does not provide medical, nutritional or health advice. Results can vary with your ingredients, equipment, stove and altitude.

6. Site content

We try to keep the information on the Site accurate, but it is provided "as is." Descriptions, sample pages and images are for illustration.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the Book. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Book is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
